Please remember, you can get a summary printout of your record from the reception and, often, it is all you need. You do not have to pay for it.

You can request letters, about your health and fitness, for help with housing, benefits, blue badge, bus pass, travelling, participation in extreme sports and activities, etc.

Most of these letters incur a charge and the charge will depend on the amount of time and effort to do the letter. This will be decided by the person doing the letter.

Once the person, who has been requested to do a letter, agrees to do it, the patient will be advised about the charge and requested to make the payment.

It can take one to two weeks to do the letter, from the time the payment is confirmed.

Please note, there is no guarantee a letter of support will have an impact on the outcome.

Patients can also request completion of forms and the same principles, as above, would apply.
